I have a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer / Team Lead to join a well-established, professional environment in Maidenhead. You'll be joining a team that values accountability and rounded technical knowledge.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the senior technical presence on site, keeping IT running smoothly for end users across both retailer and internal support, while helping shape the team around you.
Day to day, that means:
- Resolving incidents and service requests, working to SLAs and prioritising effectively
- Acting as the escalation point for Level 1 engineers, providing guidance and hands-on support
- Taking a proactive approach to end-user support, not just reactive ticket handling
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives and helping shape how support is delivered
- Supporting the delivery of IT projects in line with customer requirements
- Maintaining a professional, security-conscious approach in everything you do

You'll bring:
- Good Level 2 support experience in a customer-facing environment
- Confidence working autonomously on site with senior visibility
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 / O365 and Windows environments
- A methodical approach to ticket management, SLAs and prioritisation
- Willingness to learn new bespoke systems
- Experience with or exposure to Halo ITSM (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, considered manner with senior stakeholders
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000
