I have a great opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor to join a small, friendly consultancy. You’ll work from home, run your own diary and manage your own clients, plus with mentoring from the directors.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out site inspections covering health and safety (mainly), environmental and quality
- Writing clear, balanced reports and managing your work in Monday.com
- Managing your own portfolio of clients, around six to twelve to start
- Carrying out annual reviews and retention visits
- Managing SSIP updates and updating policies and procedures
- Producing gap analyses and surveys
- Taking on ISO work and auditing over time, with training provided
- Where you’re interested, delivering training such as CDM, working at height and manual handling, plus toolbox talks
Why you’ll be a great fit
You’ll bring:
- A construction background and good knowledge of H&S legislation, including CDM and HSWA
- NEBOSH (or a willingness to work towards it)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Good judgement and the self-motivation to manage your own time
Salary: £40,000 | Permanent | Home-based with client site visits and a weekly team day | Flexible working hours |
